yep, not worth it unless you have other items to add, where if it doesn't weigh much the shipping will still be $7.

I *do* love Geeks shipping, because it's based on actual costs. If you order one item, you'll pay about $7. If you order a number of items, it'll usually go up to $8. I throw in extra stuff all of the time because it's an excellent deal with no additional shipping charges.

I especially loved when they shipped me a 40-pound package for free once (it was a free-shipping weekend a few months ago).

I was going to order a ~1 pound $8 item from them, but then a $19 shipping charge was added. The shipping is generally fair, but can be randomly high.
