i'm a huge fan of JP in general (and watched part 1 for probably the 60th time 2 weeks ago on a flight) but i don't know about this. the whole CGI stuff just looks like it's CGI, doesn't look "real". i mean even the "jurassic world" gate looks cgi as fuck. in 1993 the gate was real, and it looked real. and the "shamu" dinosaur ... yeah, not sure about that.

i'm 100% positive i will see this in the theatre either way though.

Your post pretty much sums up how probably every kid who grew up with the Jurassic Park series feels. It wouldn't matter if it was Jurassic Park 15: Return of the Human-Dino Hybrid Toasters, we'd probably still shell out the money to watch in the hopes of recapturing some of the original's former glory.

I enjoyed the books and the first movie. I'm skeptical. Too much CGI or stupid shit like Dinosaurs in San Diego and it will just ruin the movie.

I'm glad they went with a moderately believable hybrid route, and not a "let's mesh humans and dinosaurs! That is sure to work out for everyone! They'll be great drone Soldiers, surely!"

It depresses me when I think about how much money Michael Bay makes contrasted with how infantile his movies are. I hate that man.

It had flashy lights, explosions, and big robots. Simple as that.



Transformers uses the same formula, but with a bigger budget and even more product placement.
