2nd dog died due to parvo, very young.
Did you have your dog hospitalized? I'm reading that the survival rate is very low in puppies
Got another call from the vet. He said it was much worse than he thought. He was able to align the jaw to almost 100%... but he said that we would have to see an actual surgeon to completely fix it. That procedure would cost another $2500. Luckily that isn't needed... more for aesthetics.
Our dog had parvo as a puppy. She came through. Certain breeds are more susceptible to it than others. Treatment is simply to support the dog with IV so the dog can recover itself, but this happening right after surgery when the dog is already weak certainly isnt good.
Also, why is the vet wanting to charge you when the dog contracted an infection at the vet office? Proper sanitation and segregation of the animals should prevent that. They should cover the treatment.

When does the vet think the Parvo was contracted?
You seriously might have a claim against the seller, at least for your initial $300 back. If you have any curiosity about the legal system and some time to spare, you should look into it.
I realize others have said it's a pretty low dollar amount, but if the seller is actually a back yard breeder, this might make it enough of a hassle to cease operations. One less puppy mill is a good thing.
