Wow. Donnie is squirming hard to get off of the hook for the nooky trial. But what's really amusing is that he has absolutely no f***ing chance in this or any other universe. No one who knows their ass from a hole in the ground will tell you otherwise.

And I just saw one of the Biden ads relating to abortion and it is brutal. The only way you can vote for Trump after seeing that is to say that it's complete bullshit - which I'm sure at least 30 million people will probably do.

Some interesting developments I've just heard about. Remember that 175M bond from the charitably labeled "subprime auto lender?" Well, first, the bond is required to be from a NY lender. This Hankey person's company isn't licensed in NY. So it's invalid on its face.

But beyond that, the surety contract apparently says that if/when Donnie loses his appeal, that he's personally responsible for paying the amount of the bond plus the remainder I assume. It seems that's not how it's supposed to work. The surety is supposed to be bound to pay the amount of the bond.

So while I'd expect the nooky trial to go on as planned since it's unrelated, my personal opinion is that the bond is going to be rejected by the court. The hearing is 2 weeks from today. The trial is next Monday but jury selection will allegedly take about 2 weeks.

There's also the fact that Trump's lawyers lied to the appeals court when they said there was no way for him to get a bond for the full amount when in fact, it also seems that Hankey offered to pay the entire amount of the fraud judgment. That seems a little funky though given the way the existing bond is written. I suppose we'll see.

It's interesting that Iran didn't have it's drones, etc. reach Israel during the sabbath. If I were Netanyahu, I'd take that as a head nod. I'm sure they knew that everything would be intercepted. Micro-rant: Normal cable news - you know, the kind of people who insist on telling you all sides of a story, whether you want to hear it or not. They keep talking about Project 2025. If you're not familiar, it's a rage filled manifesto on what another Trump term would do and look like. Basically, he would "fix" all of the perceived "mistakes" he made in his first term. Stuff like trying to hire intelligent people to advise him instead of only the most obsequious of ass clowns (e.g., Elise Stefanik for VP)

I could go on about this but why? True believers are gonna belief. But the fact of the matter is that an alien invasion is more likely than a second Trump term.

The R's really have not the vaguest understanding of what mainstream America does and doesn't want. And the more they push ridiculous agendas like making abortion "murder" under the criminal law and free assault rifles for toddlers and psychopaths, the more people they lose.

Of course that was a bit of an exaggeration - but not by much.

In an odd way this is good though - to see Biden at his worst. He apparently had some sort of virus last night although I'm not sure if this very widely known. But the point is that it will be hard for him to do worse at the next debate.
