First time ever? How old are you?
I'm 27 (28 next month) and I've never been there. I don't like seafood. Yes I know they have chicken, but it seems to be primarily seafood.
Anyway, who goes to a restaurant known for seafood and orders chicken? Why not go to a place that is known for chicken?
Congratulations. The OP didn't say anything about not liking seafood, which was why I asked how old he was. I don't know anyone IRL that has never been to a LJS.

We had one combined with a KFC when I was going to college. Good stuff, I liked their meal with the chicken and fish combo. Malt vinegar for fries, tarter sauce for fish, and hot sauce for chicken? Godly. Too bad there isn't one where I live now.

I love LJS chicken but feel like my heart is slowly dying everytime I eat there.
French fries + gallon of malt vinegar = bliss.Originally posted by: Perknose

The ONE good thing there, the malt vinegar!

Isn't that the place where everything tastes like rancid fish-flavored oil?

Today was the first time that I ate from Long john silvers. I ordered the number 8 which had 2 strips of chicken and couple of fries and 2 hash puppies. It sure wasn't the best chicken that I've tasted but it was pretty good. But all day today after I ate from that place, I've been craving for more chicken from long john silver. It's like they added stuff to the food to get people addicted to it. I've eaten stuff a lot better than that and I've never been addicted to it. I still want more chicken from that place even right now. Even though I'm full. How strange....
mmmm, hash puppies... wait... aren't those illegal? :Q

Well, I'm not a big fan of seafood. That's why I ordered the chicken.
