Just ate from Long John Silver for the first time

I ate there about a year ago since I hadn't been to one since I was a kid and have never felt so repulsed by a fast food place in my life.

So salty and greasy it was absurd.

In nearly vomited half way through eating it and had to stop and throw the rest away.

Never again will I eat there.

We had one combined with a KFC when I was going to college. Good stuff, I liked their meal with the chicken and fish combo. Malt vinegar for fries, tarter sauce for fish, and hot sauce for chicken? Godly. Too bad there isn't one where I live now.

Their fish with some malt vinegar on it and a side basket of crunchies (it's not on the menu, but they'll make you a basket of them) with malt vinegar and hot sauce is some of the best food you'll ever have.

Long John Silvers rocks so damned hard! I mean, usually the eating area is a bit greasy feeling (and the place stinks like friend fish), and the food is unholy in its calorie content... but it's SO DELICIOUS!

You folks must have a much better LJS where you're at than the one here...OMFG! the place is horrible! The fish is greasy and doughy, the hush-puppies...well, greasy fried balls of corn mush suck anyway...(/me is a dammed yankee) and their fries are never done right.

Skippers used to do a great job with fish & chips, but sadly, they left Kahleeforneeya about 15 years ago...Haven't found a decent place for fish & chips since...and we've tried them from every place around that we find...

The trick to junk food is to gorge on it until you vomit. Then you bring a little of that vomit near your nose and when you smell it, you vomit until all that comes up is bile. You won't want that kind of junk food anymore after that.
