The chicken and fish is nice, but yeah, everything pretty much tastes the same. Their coleslaw is actually better tasting than many non-fast food places.

The only reason I ate from that place was because I went with a group of people and they all decided to eat from LJS.

The only reason I ate from that place was because I went with a group of people and they all decided to eat from LJS.

Ditch them as friends. They obviously don't have your best interests in mind.

Yup they still do. My home town has one of those odd pairings.

Its much more common to see A&W and LJS together, and a combo of KFC/TacoBell/Pizzahut together.

I used to eat at LJS a lot in IL as a kid, in MN we didn't have any, but then they opened one in Mall of America, I try to go every few months.

I don't eat at LJS often but I've noticed the quality can vary tremendously. When it's good, my only complaint is it's too salty. When it's bad, it's awful.

Yup! That's why my body will only tolerate that kind of delicious greasiness about twice a year... Boy, I loves to dump that malt vinegar all over a big plate of puppies, fries, and chicken.

Then I regret it for about 2-3 days...


My buddy was telling me about his friend that worked near a LJS, and used to buy a 12 pack family fish combo and eat the whole thing, JUST ABOUT EVERY DAY. Holy crap! I don't know how that guy is still alive. Must be like the dude on "Supersize Me" that eats nothing but Big Macs....
