Just beat Mafia 2.

I really enjoyed the game although it was on-rail type of game which I usually don't like.
But the environment, music, cars, voice acting were all top notch.

Too bad the story is a bit short and there really isnt that much "sandbox" things to do with such great city with details.

I hope this game gets lots of mods.

next up, Fallout VEGAS!.

Was a good game overall - I understood the hate given the hype, but it was still worth playing (if you get it on sale, anyway).

New Vegas on the other hand - took me 70 hours . Great game, I enjoyed it more than Fallout 3 (never played the originals).

Yeah it is weird that they put so much work in the setting, which is possibly the best in any game...only to hardly even make use of it. The game was begging for a 30 hour epic story with epic gun fights, rather than a taxi game.

Not a bad game, but could have been so much more.

Quit complaining about the driving. That was not a problem at all. It was the fact that they rushed it out way too soon. Give 6 more months the game would of had a ton of more features. It's only a shell of what it was suppose to be.

Demo was good but I felt the game was a bit too scripted. I mean the opening scene doesn't even let you progress unless you answer the phone. ;-]

You obviously never played the first game, it's always been about loads of driving. They didn't miss an opportunity to make a good game, they missed an opportunity to make a game of constant action and gunplay. IE: not too some peoples tastes, IE: calm your ass down, sheesh.

I did however dislike it because it has health regeneration and a cover system, which I personally just can't forgive.

I dunno, I actually enjoyed driving portion of the game and trying to adapt to different crappiness of each vehicles (in simulation mode of course ).

The gunplay and fights were fine, but it has absolutely no challenge whatsoever.
I guess the environment is what made it so good. I can't wait for mods or extra missions.

You did not “beat” it, you finished the game. Developers want you to play their games and see all of their work i.e. finish them. It’s not a challenge that mere mortals cannot complete but that you, in your might, beat! That’s why games are so easy nowadays. Go and “beat” Far Cry first time on Hard.
