Pics of course.

wow, that thing is pristine! nice job keeping it in shape:thumbsup:

RKS, what's the differenc between an 01 and 02/03? my dad has an 03 maxima SE

02-03 have the bigger and more powerful engine : 3.5L V6 making 255hp. The 01s had a 3L V6 making 222hp. The 02-03s are more powerful than the numbers suggest.

Also the 02-03 got HIDs as standard equipment and offered heated steering wheels.

And more importantly, 02/03's come standard with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution and Brake Assist. Larger brakes also go with the larger engine btw.

Just sold my 2000 Maxima . God I loved that car, everything about it was so nice. Taking it apart was simple, doing repairs was simple, it just worked perfectly with no problems. Only problem was I needed something a little more gas efficient and I found myself not needing the extra room and space at all.

What kind of mileage did you get? Did you drive it hard?

This Honda Accord is my 1st Honda, I would never trade for anything else, the car is pure awesomenesssssss. Eventhough it has a 4 cylinder engine in it, but with the 5 speed manual gearbox, it feels like it's a V6 , it's so fuel effecient, and guess what my next car is going to be a 5-speed manual 2002 Accord Coupe( becasue the model that came after the 2002 sucks IMO).
I replaced the grill, with a carbon fiber one, installed a nice little spoiler, and it's exactly how I like it now, oh and replaced the emblems with carbon fiber emblems .
My Accord beats the sh!t of alot of V6 cars out there, how do I know ? I race every day.

Don't be a ricer. Your 17 second car complete with single overhead cam, is not fast. Beating V6s means dick, since there are so many junk ass V6s in circulation.

Also, the 03+ accord (7th gen) is superior in every measurable and quantitative way over the 98-02 (6th gen). Both engines are stronger, both get better gas mileage, both auto trannies have one more gear. The interior is higher quality, chassis is more rigid, crash protection is better. More standard features, like ABS.

I've driven every generation and most variants of the accord since 3rd gen, and owned half the generations along the way and the 7th gen is by far the best. If anything, the 6th gen was one of the worst iterations offering no real improvement over the previous.

Sorry man, it's true. can drive them back to back whenever i need to

It got minor/moderate updates again for 06, getting rid of that ugly ass people don't like and the reviews say it's the undisputed segment leader again.

Accords have always been good transportation and that will never change. But maybe you can go test drive the new one just so you can see where it is at now. You don't have to buy.

Guys I wasn't saying my Accord is an M3 in disguise LOL, but all I was saying is that it's an excellent bang for the buck, that's all.

And as for the reason that I hate the generation beyond 02 is because, generation after generation, and accords (just like every car out there) are becoming bigger and wider, I love the slim design in the coupr accords 1995-2002, and I just hate that ugly bulky fat design they have now. it's just a matter of taste.
And what's wrong with 02 now is it crap by now already ? Sure the 7th gen has some improvements but from what I heared from others who owned both they told me it wasn't really that much of an upgrde. But obviously I am getting different opinions here.

Race it against my G35. Even my 240sx would beat the crap out of that.

Most things will beat that Accord. It can barely pull the skin off warm milk.

4 banger Accord has what, like 160 hp? And you think you'd beat a 260 hp Maxima?

WTF I was just mentioning the little cosmetic stuff I added to it, it's a big honda emblem with a carbon fiber background.

And no I didn't say anywhere that it will beat a maxima read again.

WTF again, I am talking about cosmetic stuff, ARE YOU OK ?

I have just said my Accord beats alot of V6s out there, I didn't say get me any V6 and I will rocket my way ahead of it, it's just a 4 cylinder accord, I like it not because it's a Ferrari killer ( as you guys understood me saying) all I was saying is that it's a nice fuel effecient car, that drives and feels as if it had a V6 in there, JEEEZUZ!

$ 20 for a pair front and back of ebay. They are nice , it's a glass dome chrome emblem , and has a carbon fiber background instead of the regular black one.

And apparently ppl in this thread believe that those emblems coupled with a carbon enable me to beat a 260 HP maxima :disgust:
