I might be getting one of these soon for my brother, glad that they are actually shipping now. I'd be interested in your opinion of it once you receive it!

I did get it. Its a nice little board with plenty of IO on the back given it's size. it is also ready for APU when they come out.

The bios is nothing special. Probably one of the most simple I have seen in a long time. I haven't tried overclocking CPU yet but I have overclocked ram to 3200 and it seems to be stable.

The wifi appears to be decent as long as your AP is in good strong 5ghz range. But I do run mine over ethernet which we all know is far superior. However once I get my 1950x down here I am going to sell the 1700x that is in here and probably get an R3 quad core instead and place this machine upstairs in the guest room or just sell it outright. But being in the guest room will be good because it will make use of the included wifi which I am glad this board has that the Biostar doesn't have.

What case did you put it in ?
I went looking on the Egg after your OP and there are just to many cases.

Might be worth spending a little time on YouTube, lots of ITX builds on there. And one called Top Ten mini-ITX cases (IIRC) is good, gives brief look at various cases.

I put mine in a Fractal design Nano S. Here is a picture. I have much more to do to it.

I ran out of hardline and fittings so I had to use a soft tube on the CPU outflow side. Also my pump is big and didn't fit too well but it functions quite well indeed.

I kicked around picking this up, but ended up going with ASRock's Fatal1ty X370 Gaming-ITX/ac due to some of the odd layout choices on the Gigabyte as well as generally liking ASRock's products, features and BIOS.

This review might be of interest to the folks that bought the Gigabyte board however as he points out some potential issues with cooling and voltage regulation.

Yes the mosfets run damn hot. I've seen peaks at 80c.

Also the included wifi is only 1x mimo so it's only good around 466mbit/s or whatever it is. Its not fast but it is low latency and perfect for gaming. Although I run ethernet anyways.

Also I am not having the voltage problems that oc3d was seeing. He might have gotten a bad board.

Just ordered it and am going to pair it up with a A12-9800E until the new APUs show up, whenever that will be. I've also ordered some 2666mHz Team memory as I've heard they're a pretty good match.
Will update once the system is up and running.

Have you found a place to purchase an A12-9800E ?
I could not

Would buy an itx AM4 with an APU right now if I could find one.
Went from wanting a Ryzen 8/16 to willing to wait for a Treadripper , and having to watch My pennies

I found mine on ebay. There's a few of them out there. Like lots of others, I'm waiting for the new APU's to come out, but this should hold me over for a few months.

I picked one up about the time of this thread creation. It was in stock on the mobile app for newegg but not on the website so i jumped. I put it in a Fractal Node 202. The layout worked without any issues for me. Updated the BIOS to F3. Only issue i had was trying to do a clean install with Windows 7 off a USB drive. It'd boot form the USB but once it loaded to the first screen none of the USB ports would work. Had to be a little creative to get around that. Windows 10 picked up all the drivers automatically without any issues at all.

I use HWMonitor free edition and what i assume are the vrm/chipset are all between 17C and 52C. Haven't seen them get any higher than that and it's not like the Node 202 has great ventilation...

R7 1700 w/Cryorig C7 (don't forget to get the AM4 adapter) - Runs around 32C-57C at stock - Couldn't pass it up when Amazon had it on sale for $259 plus i had $80 in amazon gift certificates.
Team T-Force Dark 16GB 3000 (running at 2144 by default. Need to find the setting to change it still)
MyDigitalSSD 480GB BPX NVME (Hottest running part of the case. Average's around 62C)
ST45SF-G 450W SFX12V full modular (can only imagine how bad it would be non-modular in the Node 202)
PNY Geforce GTX 1050 TI OC 4GB (screw miners and the inflated card prices X( )
