Started work tonight. Apparently they had a hell of a day yesterday with that storm we had. There's still outages in Quebec area from that too.

21C now and suppose to go down to 11C overnight here so at least now that the heat wave is over things should be quiet for my shifts. I still have outages coming in for Quebec though. Probably lot of trees that are weak and breaking later after the fact and hitting hydro lines. Even in my area I noticed lot of trees leaning on our fibre lines. I'll mention it to my boss in the morning but I'm sure the cable guys already know about it.

I love the long days, but it's too bad it's so short lived. 10:12pm and I can still see part of the sunset. In a couple months from now it will be pitch black by 5pm.

Yup! They are just dying back now but the bees love them so I can't bring myself to cut them back yet.

I always laugh when people actually buy those in the garden stores. That shit is like a week here...but I usually leave it for the hummingbirds.

People buy them? They just grow. Or you can go collect seeds if you need them in the right place.

Got up this morning...warm (almost 60F) and sunny at the house. Drove down to get a haircut...shop is about a block from the beach...

(if you look closely, you can ALMOST see the water)

When we went out there with visiting family last year, it was sunny and warm, the fog rolled in as we were leaving and looked pretty much like that.
