Though air-conditioning is much more expensive to run - and less widely available - than heating, so heat-waves can kill more people than a bad winter....

I've fled to work even during these difficult Covid days, enjoying a cool 73F at work.
I'm on the coast in Washington state. Weather is moderated by the cold Pacific Ocean water. In the summer, we rarely hit 80f, in the winter, we rarely drop below freezing.
Accuweather is predicting several more days in the 70's for us...including one day at 79.
That's quite a hot streak for us. The long timers say this summer has been warmer longer than most in recent years.
We already had freezing temps overnight actually. Hopefully my epoxy cures properly... it was 20ish when I applied it but it dropped pretty fast after that.
