Just dropped one of my text books in the bowl.

I had to go, I have an exam tomorrow, so I decided to study on the shitter, so I grabbed my text book and brought it in with me. I was holding it between my thumb and point+middle fingers while running to the bathroom. When I made it to the bathroom and slammed the door shut -- shit hit the fan. The corner of the book hit the corner of the wall in the bathroom and... splash. It was basically instinct to shove my hand in the bowl and fish it out. It was actually submerged for maybe 1-2 seconds. At that point I was pissed off so I just threw the book onto the floor and went on with my business. Investigating inside the book afterward.. the first ~10 pages and the last ~10 pages are completely soaked. Everything else in between is dry, except for the edges of the pages. It is currently sitting on the heater....

Off to class I go. Without a book.

There is no lid. Only the part you can put down to sit on. It was in it either way in my case.
