Wow I don't know if I can do another one like Dead Space (on 2nd thought, HELL Yeah I can!)... That game scared the ever-loving shit out of me like none other!!! I literally had to stop play like every hour or so because I was just getting too sucked in and it freaked me the hell out!! (Probably didn't help that I played the entire game in the dark of my theater with a life-size screen and 7.1 surround).

But WHOA MAN was that game intense!! Kinda reminded me of BioShock in a lot of ways but even better I think. In fact, I think this game has all the makings for a kick-ass SciFi/Horror adaptation to film! But I digress, now it's time to move on to the next adventure. Suggestions for a good title to follow this last one? Dead Space set the bar pretty high IMO. I dig on the shooters, but I'm down for about anything PC or PS3 (sorry no Xbox here )

Thanks!
JR..

Condemned 2. Too bad you can't play Condemned as that was only available on the 360.
Fallout 3 has its creepy moments, but it's more of an FPS/RPG than straight up shooter.
FEAR 2 was just released. You could always pick up the original FEAR and FEAR Files (2 add-ons on one disc)
Dark Sector was alright. Not too creepy though.
Clive Barker's Jericho was cool. Some scares in that one.

That Condemned 2 looks pretty good! I was also considering playing Resistance 1&2 since Resistance two looks pretty badass and I haven't had my PS3 long enough to have enjoyed Resistance yet either.

Any comments on those titles?

The resistance games are good, but not for any sort of 'horror' aspect. Condemned 2 would be perfect through IMO

Oh it doesn't have to be "horror" per se, I just like a game that really grabs me. You know, something with a good storyline behind it plus good gameplay along with all the other things that give a game that "it" factor. The Half Life games for example - some of my all time favorites! In particular HL 1 on the PC (single player campaign). That game really took me for a ride too and still stands out amongst some the best of the best that I've seen.

A good game to me is a lot like reading a good book. It's got to have a good story and once it get's you involved, it keeps you involved where you actually want to keep coming back for more!

I would also recommend:

Heavenly Sword
Drake's Fortune

How about The Orange Box, then? HL2, HL2:Ep1, HL2:Ep2, TF2 and Portal on one disc!

Another vote for the Resistance games...Metal Gear Solid games, Uncharted, Warhawk...and completely unrelated (but still awesome), LittleBigPlanet.

Love Fallout 3. Check it out. Like other said it has some creapy moments, but it also a interesting story. I haven't play resistance 2, but resistance 1 was fun. Though I felt the story was sort of secondary to the fragging in that game.

ugh

by far the worst part of the game. just stick with it. i would recommend against using both blasters because you will overheat. and when they really start coming at you, dont pay too much attntion to the ones all the way out on the sides, just focus on the middle.

I finally beat it when I realized you can take multiple asteroids out at a time by putting them in the path of the two laser things
