Just finished Unreal2

The graphics in this game were amazing. Weapon selection was awesome. Terrain variations were very good. The only bad thing was that I finnished it in about 7 hours and that it does not have multiplayer. Highly recommend for a great day of killing.

I didn't realize that there was no multiplayer to Unreal 2. Hmmm, I'm going wait I guess till it drops in price down to around the $25.00 range. Screenshot looked great and I reading good responses from peeps who are playing it.

BTW....how do you capture the screenshots in the game. I used to remember how to do it, but it has been many years. Something Print Scrn right?

You can bind a screenshot key in your setup. I usually make mine F11 out of habit. It will put them in your Unreal2 System folder as bitmaps.

I picked it up yesterday . . . sblive! is dead (so is Win98SE . . . finally on Win2k).

But . . . the graphics sure are purdy.

The texture on the fire is so real... I'm VERY impressed... but my graphic card is a POS (Nvidia TNT2 PRO baby! )... gotta get a new card soon...!!!!

I finished it about 6 minutes ago.
Brought it on Friday 7th (release date in UK), spent about 1-2 hours on it a day. Now completed.
IMO, its a bit too easy(only died twice in the game).

Nope, normal.
Dont get me wrong, its a great game, and the graphics are currently the best out, but its too easy.

Got it Thursday, finished it Saturday, replayed the Araknid level, gonna go back and replay it through Fun game.
I'm in the UK and it got delivered a day early

I think i`ll replay it when they`ve released a patch that fixes everything.

What kind of problems did you have? The only problem I had was that I got stuck in a crack between 2 rocks twice and could not jump or move. I had to start from my last quick save.

In the game now . . . it's rather easy to put down unlike Max Payne, Serious Sams, HL, RtCW, Deus Ex and the original Unreal. Gorgeous but uninspiring and without the "hook" I expect in GOTY class.

Graphics are "the next level" . . . and showing off what DX7 and (some)DX8 can do . . . I am finally able to show my "X-Box friends" the computer's graphics and even they are the slightest bit impressed - not bad for a Tualatin Celeron at 1.5Ghz and a Radeon 8500.

I guess the best thing to do is play through it and then put it away - until the MODS come out (mmm, next year?) . . . perhaps something worthy of a 'Return to Na Pali' with something of a "story" and perhaps less linearity. After all - as in the original - all the tools are there

aye, very good game indeed, I'm still playing it and I have to say, the graphics, textures, and story are pretty damn good. I love KILLING

The only reason it may be too 'easy' is because all of us are experienced 1st-person shooter players. If we were newbies we'd all be saying how hard it is, right?

Tried playing it yesterday and it chocked on my AXP1600 + GFTi4200. Guess it must have been my 256MB RAM. Either that or the settings were too high

The sounds dont always play propely, like the weapon sounds, voices ect; but they do work, reload the level, and they then work. No biggy.
