1) Join your local anime club, they are libaries of stuff to borrow
2) pay for it (choice that not many choose to take)
3) leech off friends (popular)
4) leech off internet sites, irc, filesharing

Hmmm, Love Hina will be a tough anime to follow.

You might want to check reviews of "His and Her Circumstances" and "Azumanga Daioh". The animation isn't as nice as Love Hina, but I ended up watching anyway because of the humor and characters. "Azumanga Daioh" is especially known for placing the eccentric characters in normal situations and letting them interact. It's based on a comic strip, so there is not really much plot or continuing storyline at all.

I really enjoyed "DNA2", although the main character comes from the future the focus is on our time, and in the early episodes especially there is a lot of interaction between the characters. There is some futuristic gadgetry, but nothing on the scale of Space Princesses and such.

Hand Maid May is pretty good, looks very similar in style....."Ah my Mi Strawberry eggs" looks promising, though only the first two dvd's are out, another good one might be "Boys Be" or "Sakura Diaries" both of those last two are half series(13 eps) and are love stories of college age students

Ah! My Goddess, the manga is WAY better than the TV adaption, but its like $13 a book but still worth it.

Chobits is hilarious although the end was rushed. shaman king is ongoing, 40 episodes so far with maybe another 20 left

I am watching Cowboy Bebop now. I'm on episode 9....is not bad although I expected more. I have tons of anime on my streamload account so is good to know which ones to download first.

BTW, I heard the soundtrack for Love Hina Again has the episode that continues right agter LHA 3. That means right after Naru gets on the plane with Keitarou. Anyone can confirm this or share it
