This is probably because of the growing tendency for people with vast amounts of knowledge about a technical topic to call the OP a noob, insult the OPs intelligence and to leave the OPs questions unanswered.
I remember fondly the days when intellectual superiority was never a factor on the net. However, those days seem to be passing.
I am not accusing anyone here of this, just saying I notice it more and more. People ask a simple question and then spend a paragraph pre-qualifying themselves to deserve an answer.
But, anyways, sorry about your bad luck, OP. Maybe you could sell that lemon off and try a nforce4 board. You'd still be an early adapter, but at least you would be able to get the full feature set of the nforce4 design.
