RMA it
So you're ok with committing rma fraud for $550 dollars but in another thread you are better than everyone else for not wanting to sell something at a profit. Interesting.
Ultimately the cost gets past on to the consumers. Although one more RMA obviously isn't going to make much difference in the grand scheme of things. You're taking money away from a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR company Don, SHAME on you!
I'm kidding

If OCGuy RMA's his card, that will increase the number of RMA's that that company has to deal with by one. I said "one more RMA obviously isn't going to make much difference in the grand scheme of things." To me this is pretty freaking obvious. I don't really understand how you can disagree. Obviously lots of people RMAing their cards does have a cumulative affect, but does one RMA have a big effect, erm no.Disagree. It's a cumulative affect with every fraudulent RMA creating the increased costs for us all.

Yeah, I get what you are saying too. It is a bad practice and it does push up the prices for everyone. But what I said was technically accurate, so I just thought I would point that out! =)Dude, I get what you're saying. You could say that to any one of the people doing a fraudulent RMA though. The practice as a whole causes the problem and the practice takes place on a one by one basis.
Ripping off a billion dollar company = Acceptable
Ripping off fellow computer enthusiasts = Unacceptable
