I'm looking to waste my $25 of google play credit on some awesome Emulators apps. Like SNES, Neo Geo, etc. I just purchased a usb cable so I can use my ps3 controllers! Also, any way I can sync it up to my T.V.? I have a PS3...

I've dipped into android with my EVO 4G. Hated it. Now I'm on IP4s and I like it, but I also like the nexus 7. So now I'm back with another Android device, what are some great emu apps out there?

I like SuperGNES. You can try it for free.

Not an emu, but Bard's Tale has been getting good reviews. Planning on picking it up this weekend.

I don't think the Nexus 7 has any TV out functionality if that's what you're asking. It's kind of a shame, but I guess Google are trying to keep the cost as low as possible.

I thought the usb port on the ps3 controllers were powered only. That's why you can't use a ps3 controller just wired, it has to be via Bluetooth. That said you should still be able to connect the controller to the tablet through Bluetooth. There's guides out there if it hasn't been made simpler by jelly bean yet.

I think you still need to use a USB cable to connect a PS3 controller even though it uses bluetooth to communicate. At least that's the way it worked on my tablet.

Maybe you need USB if you are avoiding purchasing Sixaxis or whatever that app is called.

Why do u brits refer to companies as a plural entity? Google is a singular corporation, hence you should be saying Google is, not Google are.

Not to mention it sounds awkward as hell.

Agreed. I feel the same way with 'data' and Brits saying 'are'.

For example: "more data is good" - vs - "more data are good". One sounds like a new immigrant playing hooked on phonics.

"data" can be plural though. For example, you don't say "datas". If you mean more than 1 set of data, you can use plural.

keep in mind: I do NOT plan on rooting this device at all. Can I still hook up the PS3 controller? So do they make MAME for the nexus? I have a handful of arcade games i want on there... And which game does network support?

Somebody needs to try this and post here:

I can tell you that a USB hub, USB keyboard, USB mouse, and USB Ethernet adapter all work fine. The latter three I tried are all from Apple.

"data" can be plural though. For example, you don't say "datas". If you mean more than 1 set of data, you can use plural.

Data is technically always plural. A singular piece is called a "datum". It's one of those words, though, that has been imported from another language (Latin in this case) into English and is losing its connection to its root.

The usual English usage of data is as a singular or plural - one piece of data, two pieces of data, etc. We don't often say "The datum is complete."

It's like the Italian word "panini" (a type of sandwich) which is the plural of "panino". In English we seem to use panini as a singular and "panini's" as the plural, even though technically that's a double plural.
