Yup, just found it in my mailbox

So I hook one up to see how loud it is....man it's not quiet.
While I had my comp open.....I looked at my fop32-1......
Looked at the delta's....looked at fop32-1....put the 2 together

So right now I'm staring at 2 Delta's heavily zip-tied to my fop heatsink.
Can't wait to try this out

BTW: I know I'm gonna go INSANE from the noise :Q :Q

OMG THEY ARE LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like your ears, gf, sanity, life or anything, YOU WILL GO INSANE when you hear these things spin!
I still like it how my 120mm YS Tech 131cfm/46db blowhole still drowns out their hair dryer whine

They're running pretty cool so far...running some Hard games right now to make it sweat.

Well, with my Duron 650 @ 920, 1.85 (reported as 1.88v), 3.5VIO (reported as 3.55v) the highest I could get it was 44c.
Temp difference of roughly 3c compared to a single YS Tech 60mm fan.
Not very impressive...

true true.
Even with an case temp of 25c, it wont nudge past 44c.
Before it'd be running roughly 46c.

3c is a nice drop...but at the price of 2 ultra powerful delta fans, doesn't seem fair too me. You know i have my thoughts that because of the overflow of the fans hanging over the sink, is cooling the air under the socket where the thermistor is, screwing up your temp readings, as mike as pointed out many of times. It could be quite possibly the HS itself is the same temprature with the YS tech and with 2 deltas?
Instead of going with brute power, try lapping your core down too 2000 grit sand power using a 2 layer sheet of glass, the 2 layer glass less tendency to bend/warp while sanding. Too find 2000 grit you'll probably need to go to a auto store..find it in wet sand. Do the same with your HS doing so your HS should look like a freakin mirror. Going even further what i would do is by a sheet of copper dunno what optimum thickness, (figure that out later) cover the whole base with that...sand both sides with 2000 grit. now probably the FOP clip is too strong, its a poor clip in the first place im pretty sure you can borrow the clip from the alpha 6035 (just the clip can be bought)..since the surface is soo smooth you really wouldn't need ACII in the mix.
Also for even more crazy power forget the two 60mm deltas...go with a 80mm Delta that pushes 69CFM! Its just about as loud too, alot of the noise is gonna be caused by all that freakin air.

Oh yeah you know what would be interesting...heard you were thinking of getting a PEP66. Take those 2 Deltas lay that HS down...remove the skirt and mount those fans along the top the long way blowing down! That will really be some mean HS.

I think I've maxed out the fop heatsink by itself.
I'll give the pep66 a try.....I may have one of those thin delta's coming in....
YS Tech on top
Delta thick on one side
Delta thin on the other

Talk about airflow

When ya have a Weak fan blowing in and a strong fan sucking out from the PEP whats gonna happen is the thin fan is really gonna do nothing. I think of it like this you have one of those dual bikes...theres a big buff guy in the front and a skinny girl in the back..the big guy is going so fast that the little gal can't keep up and is really doing nothing but spinning her legs around. Thats why i recommended above taking off the skirt and slapping in ontop they both together to blow in air..that way they both efficently are doing something.

How hot is the FOP heatsink itself getting?

Giz, I was gonna put the YS Tech on top, blowing in.
Thin delta on one side, also blowing in.
thick delta facing rear, blowing out.
Roughly equal airflow going in and out.

you may want to try a 80mm or 92mm fan on the fop- I have a HO Nidec 80mm on the fop and idle around 39c/44 Maxed (just with a inverted grill - not ducted)
have a 92mm Sunon I'm going to try as well

I dont get why everybody thinks that a lower cfm fan will outperform these?
A pair of delta's puts out over 70cfm of air.
The only 80mm fan that comes close is the Delta 80mm, and it's still behind it.

An interesting thing to try would be to duct them....

I think it all depends on ducting them, etc. A weak fan blowing over the whole heatsink, wtih directed airflow will probably outperform a bigger/higher cfm 80mm fan that isnt' blowing all its airflow on the heatsink.
