Hahaha don't bother putting it on your resume because once a manager sees "DeVry University" it will go straight in the trash.
Proof? Maybe we should go ask Lockheed Martin or maybe a manager at Intel
The problem is now cause of the job market is so competitative in technical sector that your competiting with others graduates with more "established" universities graduates.
Experience is still more important but if you have none, they will look at your degree, internships etc.
What do you mean experience? I am going to college to get experience and do plan on getting internships. I am assuming you have not going to any of these mentioned "established" universities or else you'd know how to spell competitive.
Yup, i'm terrible speller. <Shrug>. Bro, why are you getting all uptight. I know lots of guys who went to Devry and making a decent living. My buddy works for Boeing in the IT department, and he doesn't even have college degree or MCSE, etc. It was his experience that got him the job NOT HIS EDUCATION.
I wish I could find a job like that
Bill
Temp agency, he work his ass off to show Boeing he knew his sh*t. Boeing bought out his contract with the temp agency. That is unheard cause of buy out cost. He has been there for over 5 years.
Whats funny now is that Boeing pays for his education and he is now enrolled in a "trade" school but for cooking/baking. He wants to be a pastry cheif.
