?

WTF?

They are both going to be shitshows, from the top down. And they will both be violent, with the violence coming from the exact same group of proggies funded by the exact same ultra-wealthy leftists.
It's amazing how addicted to conspiracy theories the right has become. Pretty much anything as long as it's what you want to believe.

Well since we gave it the power to regulate and collect tax from those jobs, as well as whatever licensing, environmental over site, labor regulations, etc. the government can enforce on legal businesses with legal employees,

how can the government turn a blind eye to those that want to use illegal labor to bypass many of the requirements that legal employees and employers are required to abide by?
I'm not suggesting that they do, just pointing out the obvious potential for abuse involved.
And the double speak is getting a bit much for me. One moment, a business should be free to deny baking cakes for gays and the government shouldn't be involved, the next moment the government has to control every business' every hire. And somehow, there's no conflict...

The left doesnt preach fear? The left says vote for us or the other guys will deport you.
The left says vote for us, or the other guy will throw grandma off a cliff. etc etc etc.

Plenty of fear is shoveled by the left.

How are those death panels working out for you guys? Have you killed gramma yet?

Yeah, and if only we tried harder to enforce the drug laws, there wouldn't be any illegal drug use either, right?

So your solution is to give up? How simple minded. Why dont we try providing legal avenues for the less harsh drugs and regulating that, oh right we are. Why dont we do that with immigration...oh right we have this whole citizenship thing in place so that people who want to legally come here can do so if they meet the criteria. Damn why didn't the American people think of this sooner?

Nice deflection though, typical redirection from someone talking out their ass with no leg to stand on.

Damned well said, sir.

And of course, picking a fight with someone means not agreeing them politically. If some old woman dares to back a candidate with whom we disagree, then she deserves it when we all put on our brown shirts and beat the crap out of her.

PLEASE do not say you are a libertarian, or believe in personal responsibility. You are the very farthest thing from a libertarian, a violent progressive, and you are advocating the farthest thing from personal responsibility, violence based on speech and thought. That's a Che Guevara wannabe, not a libertarian.

Well, if he doesn't endorse them, they won't let him talk at all.
Wow, just when I thought there couldn't possibly be room for anymore straw men in this thread, you pull out the whopper to beat on!
Picking in this case meant picking a fight. Like Trump people hitting protesters and using grotesque racial slurs, etc.

Sounds like you love big government after all. All I ask is that you and the rest of the Trumpers stop lying about that.

Big government? We already have a border patrol in place, but they are not allowed to properly do their jobs. We already have E-Verify, but it's rules aren't being enforced either. Since neither one are effective, what a huge waste of payroll $$$.

The border patrol union has endorsed Trump....the first time they have ever endorsed a presidential candidate. Maybe he can work with them and let them begin doing their jobs again. It's cheaper to block them and send them back, rather than deport them once they're here. When an immigration arrest is made, the person arrested is entitled to due process....or a court hearing before they can be deported. Of course a potential deportee needs an attorney. Who pays for that? I'd say that would be a public defender, funded by the tax payers. I now understand the costs of deporting 11 million people. They'd all have to be rounded up, arrested and given hearings.....and public defenders, before they could be deported. Why do we make laws which operate against our own country's best interests?

Did you seriously just make the argument that we need to support illegal immigration because of problems with the no-fly list? Are you purposefully throwing whatever you can out there hoping something finally sticks?

If you feel we should not stop undocumented border crossings on the basis you personally would feel too insecure with freedom... let's just say I completely disagree with that logic, therefore we build the wall.

You sound reasonable what would you compromise on? Below is the original to compuwiz1
Let's assume there is no cost overrun and that figure is reasonably correct. Obviously if it costs substantially less you'd concede less.

I'm all for fining the crap out of employers, I'm fine with auditing them more. I do feel a wall is a waste of time but I'm alright with the idea. From what I've read a wall will cost around 9 billion and 300-500 million a year to maintain and staff. I'll pay some extra taxes for that but I do expect something in return. What would you be willing to give in return for a wall?

Yet more straw men. This is getting ridiculous. Many people are presenting less draconian solutions for both drugs and immigration, and it's the Trumpers who will have none of it. "Build the wall! Deport them all! Comply or die!"

You live in a fantasy world of outrage, fueled by highly polarized stereotypes and boogiemen. You've bought into an ideology lock, stock and barrel and you sold your very soul for it...thinking that it somehow makes you a 'good person' and that anyone outside that bubble who doesn't agree are somehow evil. Your self-identity is wrapped in a lie.

Like this?

Death panels, Muslim, born in Kenya, birth certificate, commienazi, homosexual, dictator, messiah, anti American...

Which makes perfect sense when one realizes that people aren't individuals, but merely elements of a group. Someone says something you don't like? Find some old woman who resembles them and punch her in the face. She deserves it for "picking a fight" with your group by daring to believe something you don't believe.

Yeah, you're all about individual responsibility.

Well, of course, the border patrol union is supporting Trump. He's promising them jobs! And jobs for everyone else involved in the entire process. How do you post that and still not see it?

You forgot a few things, like him being mentored by communists, Frank Marshall Davis rumored to be his real father, the adopted daughters, and his wife's real name, which is Michael, whom he met at one of those gay bath houses.

And you divert.

Or is this just you admitting that you are pro-illegal immigration? Except that you wouldn't call it illegal. Because in your utopian world there are no borders.

I've watched several of his Rallies, combing through them for things he is saying that might provoke violence outside, by the protesters. The only things I can find might be when he talks about securing the border.

I think that pisses off illegals and many of those outside, waiving the Mexican flag, might be illegals. He's the only one running, who is campaigning on fixing this terrible mess that's been allowed to fester for too long. I hear nothing in his speeches that is hateful, only talking about how he wants to create solutions.

The kind of rebellion, from the people we're seeing it from, is expected. They don't obey laws, for if they had, they wouldn't be in the country illegally. Why would they care about being respectful and decent? They get their needs met here, via, jobs, medical care, EBT cards, Section 8 housing, etc.

Trump is a threat to the illegal activity that has been going on for too long. They're gonna hate it, so of course there are people who will resort to being loud and even violent. The rug is going to get pulled out from under them, if he becomes president. Enforcing laws is not racist or hateful. Let's revamp the immigration system so people can come in legally and the process doesn't take so damn long. Trump is also proposing that.

I think it's a joke that we have people who shouldn't be here making demands and getting violent with people who disagree with them and acting like thugs at a presidential candidate's rallies. Once it moves on from peaceful protest, to violence, it's no longer a protest, but an illegal riot. What they don't understand is that they are making Trump's case, when America sees what they are doing on TV.

I didn't get the impression that the attackers were immigrants, legal or otherwise.

I pretty much just saw a video clip on the news of a shaky cam just outside a building while a bloody guy rolled around on the ground. The broadcast said nothing about the ethnicity of the anti-Trump protesters.

Hmm.

So Trump and his little army of bigots spend a year:

-Calling Mexicans rapists, drug dealers and unfit to serve as judges, and threaten to break down the doors of their homes and interrogate them

-Lie about American muslims supporting 9/11 and terrorism. Call to ban their entire religion from entering the country

-Lie about blacks and crime statistics. Lie about the first black president and lie about his Americanism, education and religion.

-Give the wink wink, nudge nudge to the KKK and neo-nazis

-Degenerate women. Degenerate the disabled, and really anyone else they felt like shitting on that day

-Chant at rallies about beating people up and throwing them out. Push violence, then offer to cover legal bills if arrested

And then act shocked when those people get tired of being used as a punching bag and decide to punch back!

Well.. What the hell did you think was going to happen? You were expecting only a one sided race war?
