Just got Hellgate London - who wants to play later tonight?

Yeah, this game is really quite good fun for the target audience. I have a decently advanced character so I could always be of some help.

Well I would plead that you don't go BM because they are completely screwed up right now but evidently the developer (fss) is planning a massive overhaul of the class that will bring it up to par. When this happens, everyone and their mom is going BM so why not beat them to the punch?

it was fun for the first week

but now, Diablo 2 + LOD is still more fun

I stopped playing this game a while ago. Are they allowing people to respec yet even if you don't subscribe? That was a major pitfall imo. I might mess with it again if they changed that part.

well i have a level... 6? evoker, or i can make a new blademaster. i tried elite mode, and it's retardedly hard for melee chars, at least in the beginning. i'm gonna stick to regular weakling mode

I was actually thinking of getting this game. I bought Diablo II (three different times!) and tried to like it each time but couldn't. I played the demo of this game and didn't think it was too bad. Would I get bored of it like I did Diablo II?

better than D2 or not, I really enjoyed the graphics, and it is getting better patch after patch. But i stopped playing alltogether after a while.

if you can find hellgate for $15, i'd say it's worth it. the game is very much diablo, and has the same killing and looting. however, the environments, IMO, are disappointing.. the game could have been *so much more* maybe i'm just growing out of games. i dunno.

as much as i wanted to be a diablo3, it simply can't hold a candle to the diablo legacy. it just doesn't have that bit of crack that gets you addicted like diablo does.
