Just got my Canon A510

I've read the manual, but still don't really understand the manual aspects of this camera. Are there any websites that explain everything for dummies sort of speak?

just start reading in the order suggested. then go out with your camera and do the things suggested.

There is one post under the A series of cameras, none of the articles mention the A series, and the A510 is not even on the list of cameras. Unfortuantly, this site is lacking any info for me.

get a book... Understanding Exposure by bryan peterson is my recommendation. it teaches you all about aperature and exposure and ISO and a variety of other camera settings with beautiful photo illustrations. REALLY great book. i loved it -- it taught me a lot.

It's a great camera, I also have an A510. I usually just stick to auto mode, but sometime plan on playing with the manual settings.
