Just got my first job

Long story short, I've been emailing this guy about a job @ a local bike shop by me. He told me to come in today, so I did. As soon as I got in the store, he took me to the back and asked when I could start working. Pretty awesome. Didn't have to even fill out an application. I start on Tuesday. $9.50 an hour...not bad for a first job....what do you think?

Are you pressed for money? If not, then at 17 you should be studying hard for college and spending good times with family and friends. You'll be working the rest of your life, so why waste your teens doing that?
