Just got my FOP38

And instead of installing it, I took off the fan and put it on the PAL6035 sucking air out. At idle its running cooler. Louder yes, but I believe quieter than if installed on the GlobalWin HS.

Actually now come to think of it I may have to start drinking on a regular basis, as this sound will drive me nuts. It is like there is a minature Hoovercraft in my room.

Music has to go.

Games have to be louder.

All in the name of cooling.

And insanity.

I don't get why people would do this to themselves. Buy a Taisol or Alpha or FOP32 and sacrifice the 2 degrees Celsius for heaven's sake!

Yep, its loud...Darn comp is 50 decibels.......on my soundmeter.

This is TOO MUCH....I AM GOING DEAF AND HAVE TO SHOUT!!!!

Seriously, I'll go back to the Seiko Denki fan and use the delta if summer is too hot.

i don't mind it at all. my sx830 seems to take away the high-pitch of the delta
