Thats a difference of 54/102 thats quite a difference for comparable systems all due to (lower rev boards and non tweaked bios settings)

Then take a look at the diff between the the so called &quot;DDR killer&quot; and my (ali magik)

thats an astonishing difference of 190/360 thats =47%/80.7% alu/fpu


Now I have to agree the kt133a might be a amd760 killer, but I doght it will even come close to killing the ALI magik chipset.

I was assuming they were your own personal benchmarks on your newly purchased iWill KA266R since you did not provide a link to where you got the numbers above, plus you said they were ?my scores? or ?my system?. You posted those numbers the same day you posted this thread stating, ?I'm now looking for a processor to use with this board hopeing to find a certified 133mhz fsb TBIRD, anyone got the hookup on them.? You also said ?I dont know how it runs yet like I said I dont have an athlon.

The only way you would know your board has &quot;better benchs&quot; and &quot;waxes the floor off of the AMD760&quot; is to have it properly working, and you would need a CPU to do that.

This is because the 1.2 gig was actually a 1.1gig tbird and it was not mine it was a neighbors tbird. He let me use it for a little while but needed it back. I actually purchased a 700tbird I had it oc to 933mhz on 133mhz fsb but was unable to push it any farther without being able to up the voltage. Then When trying to clamp the ALPHA back on I cracked a corner of the die. So I took it back they told me I was SOL. So I bought another one this time I was much more carefull. Im only able to get this one to run stable at 840mhz on 126mhz fsb:|. Oh well Im getting a I'll be upgrading soon as I find a 1.2gig that is certified to run on 133mhz fsb or a Palmino whichever comes first.

Actually The time is 2:12am dec 28/2000

And the time's are really pointless because I did the benches way before I posted the scores. Just double checking makeing sure I have Everything setup correctly. To give me the best scores.

When Did I ever say I had a 1.2ghz at 1.5gigz or a 900mhz at 1.2ghz of a 133fsb.

If you would do a little research on a piece of hardware before you decide to discuss about it you would find out that this board has multiplier jumpers so you can make a 1.1 do 1.2 or a 1ghz do 1.2 you can do what ever you like Its pretty nice.

Although you cant do voltage adjusments yet.

Update on the board,

Im haveing a few problems

PROBLEM
1. Will not post video on every boot. Alot of times I have to switch off/on the PS on the back of the PC to get it to boot...


2. When I reboot with the ctrl/alt/delete key combo. The computer will post although the pc sqeaker wont shut up so I have to hit the PS on/off switch.

3. When I try any cards in the 4th pci slot they all are initiallized by the pnp. and the bios see's them. Windows see's them however the drivers error out. This is only on the 4th pci slot. All other slots work properly.

4. Every Once In a while IF Im watching VIDEO off the D: drive. The COMPUTER TIGHT LOCKS.

My D: drive is a segate 8gig ultrata/66 and that is what the bios sets it too.

My C: drive is a seagate burracuda 7200rpm lvd UW2 drive and my sczi card is a adaptec

Iv'e used this same setup in my last PC (amd k6-3) and i've never had these
problems before.



5. Win98se will not shut down it always get stuck at the shutdown screen.

The Computer RUNS very stable besides those ISUESS

Its like an old car &quot;Its hard to get started but once you do It's hard to shut off&quot;

I think I'm going to wait till the next rev board to tell Advanced Design KY about the issue maybe then I will get the newer Rev board with the voltage adjustments.
