Just got my SX1240....WOW!

I had a cheap 'POS' full tower case before that I sold a guy at work. My old case was like working in a box of razor blades. I lurked this forum for about 6 months trying to decide on a new case. After all I learned the Antecs seemed the best overall deal.
This case is great! Its built like a tank and the size of a small frig. I got a great deal on it , $130 +15 shipping from [PS..looks like the price went up. Oh well... techonweb

I got mine for $141 from EMS Computing and so i love it. I'm gonna start modding the case pretty soon.

I also am looking at this case. i was wondering what powersupply comes with it? the Pentium 4 compliant PP412X OR the AMD recommended PP403X?

I would appreciate it if you could let me know

I am not sure of the model # of the PSU but, it has the P4 and ATX connectors. BTW, this is the newer sx1240 w/ the PSU support.

I ordered my case from EMS Computing last Thursday. They had a couple delays but I should get it tomorrow. I bought for 141 with free shipping even though they have on sale for 126 now. The odd thing is, with the current price with shipping is actually $.28 cheaper than with the free shipping. (Makes you feel like you got a beeter price LOL) I can't wait to get this case so I can start modding it.

The powersupply it comes with is the PP412X with I believe 285W combined output.

could you pop the side off the box and have a look inside and see? it would be right on the side of the PSU

I did not know there was a "new" sx1240. what do you mean by this? do you have any information or any links to any sites that point out the differences between the new and the older 1240?

After a quick Google search, here is a link to a review that showes the NEW PSU support. One of the main issues with the sx1240 was that there was no support under the PSU like this one.
As to the model # on the PSU the case is at home and I am at work.

BTW, I used Techonweb because they had much better feedback than EMS for $2-3 more. They also shipped same day.

If you can't get one from EMS, you might want to try ProVantage. Another thing to consider, is if you are looking for an SX1200 that isn't beige, and don't mind having a door on the front like the SX1000 series, you might be interested in looking here.

Yeah, but doesn't it just suck that there is that horisontal splitter bar running across the case, in the middle? That's one of the reasons I didn't buy that case. The bar really limits the air flow, and I don't want to have to pass my cables through that little hole in it. Also, I need 2+ fans, 120mm - and the LiteOn FS020 has 3, baby!

But it is a nice case nontheless =)

I just received the case today. WOW this thing is a monster!! Looks like my modding options and upgradeability are darn near limitless.
