Just got my Z-5500

If you own the house or it has a basement drill a small hole and run the wires under the house or under the carpet

Funny you should mention this, My Z-5500's came with REAL speaker wire, No RCAs or anything, I thought it was coming with RCAs but I then opened the package and found speaker wire.

Big time if you have any bass or turn the volume past 1

Luckly for me though no one really close and when the wife goes and picks up the boy I can really jam

If your thinking of getting them and have quiet people anywhere near an ear shot dont get them your wasting your money because they are very loud and the bass is boming even if you turn it all the way down depending on what your listning to. If you got room, like loud music or movies, bass shaking your walls and everything off them, can actually use them as intended then for the price nothing can really touch 'em. I upgraded from my z560's and I dont regret it one bit. Xbox and everything coming from the pc sounds much better. Also having dd and dts is a huge plus as well.

What in the hell are you even talking about, the klipsches are simply much more accurate and clean than the logitechs. Have you even heard both?

If I was going to buy a set of multimedia speakers, it would be klipsch.

Logitech Z-5500........ $200 - $250
Klipsch Ultras.............$300 - $350

See that $100 difference? Why say "you shoulda gone with the Klipsch" when the two systems aren't even in the same price range? OF COURSE THEY DAMN WELL SHOULD BE BETTER. But for those of us who don't have an extra Benjamin to throw around the Logitechs are the best out there.

yeah I know the ProMedia 2.1's are pretty old....but I still like the sound that comes from it. That's why its so hard to find, cause its discontinued.

Any reason why the Z-2200 is better than the Z-2300?
