It's called CA-NA-DA as well. McGill, UofT, UBC all take in a LOT of int'l students - because don't forget not everyone can afford to pay the $40K tuitions at Harvard.

I managed to get in everywhere I applied, but then again I didn't drool when I typed, nor was I half as dumb as you. Secondly, that SAT isn't really that great, in fact, I'd say your SAT and your GPA are your low point. Not only those two things, but your maturity level, your grammar and diction, and quite possibly your lack of self-reflection. I'll admit I didn't apply myself in HS, and I'm suffering now for it. Change now or you might not even get in College.

:thumbsup: for McGill. Plenty of my friends are applying there from Stuyvesant (#1-#2 public hs in america). Application takes 20 minutes, no essay and still a great education at an affordable price.

2.1 and you want to get into 4 year college?

i'd suggest a JC first and then transfer. 2.1 gets you in at very few places. captain of football team doesn't mean anything, neither does eagle scout. you should be thankful that other school accepted you provisionally at this rate.

So what are you complaing about? (To the OP, not to faenix) Apply for something harder then. Count on MIT always giving you a good laugh when you hand in your app...

It all depends on where you apply.. some schools will take you in easily.. others you'd have to do more than get on your knees to even be considered.

It helps if you buy them an airport....You know Yale could use an airport...
