Hey, wait a minute, I went to Fairleigh Dickinson - at least, I took a bunch of classes there for my MS/CS. I didn't know they ever rejected anybody? Wow.
Though misspelling the name of the place would probably do it.
Thank you for donating the $40 application fee, which should help them defray the costs of other better-spelling students of all ethnic backgrounds.
the application was free because my mom went to FDU
Holy Sh!t, you had Alumni in the family, and they STILL wouldn't let you in? I'd say you better start getting ready to flip burgers, or head to the crappiest CC you can find.
do they really consider that? i didnt mention it or anything u know. Like They basically sent me an application for free because my mom went there.
And she didnt really go there. she went to montclair And then Went To FDU and got some other degree. like she has a diploma from there but when she was like 18-22 She was at montclair

American colleges are a joke, standards are way too low. I mean even Princefield2040 can probably go to another college. just pitiful. And its sad that I have to go to one.
I guess that's why thousands and thousands of foreign students flock to American Universities to pursue high-end degrees, right?
It's called CA-NA-DA as well. McGill, UofT, UBC all take in a LOT of int'l students - because don't forget not everyone can afford to pay the $40K tuitions at Harvard.

what are your grades like?
I think it is pretty serious to get rejected by a school like Fairly Ridiculous ....
The comments about affirmative action are not gonna be welcomed on this board...
My grades are my low point. like 2.1 GPA and 1240 SAT. But i was also Captain on my football team and a eagle scout and my grades improved in the first part of senior year
Is that 2.1 in regular classes, or in Honors/AP/IB? I had a lowly 2.98 at one of the nation's top Public Highschools, and I thought it was rather horrible. I managed to get in everywhere I applied, but then again I didn't drool when I typed, nor was I half as dumb as you. Secondly, that SAT isn't really that great, in fact, I'd say your SAT and your GPA are your low point. Not only those two things, but your maturity level, your grammar and diction, and quite possibly your lack of self-reflection. I'll admit I didn't apply myself in HS, and I'm suffering now for it. Change now or you might not even get in College.
yes 2.1 in regular classes
and a 1240 SAT isnt bad At all... 1000 is an average score and i raped that

Canadian universities are much easier to get into than American Universities.

Booyah for blanket statements!
Sure, we don't have to do the SAT's, but it's definitely not easy to get into universities like Queen's, McGill, and Western.
