Just got robbed

...by my own damn wife. We have been separated for a couple weeks and looking to get a divorce. When we first got together we went to Wells Fargo and made a joint account and I put some money in it. Then we left it there and used our own different banks. Looked this morning to find it sapped of funds...transferred to her account. I'm gonna find this bitch and break both her god damn mother fucking legs.

Your still married, its a joint account and she legally has a much right as you to withdraw or transfer it. Oh, and don't do anything stupid.

Its just money. When I look back at the amount I was screwed over on a monthly basis and still struggle from some of "our" bills I was saddled with....I just think, was cheap price to pay to be rid of the BS and aggravation. Only 11 more years until I can completely ignore her forever.

I would think, if you are getting a divorce, it could probably be good. Keep records of it, when your lawyers meet to figure settlements, show how irresponsible and selfish she was and use it.

My wife and I will have been married 5 years this year and our money's been in a joint account the whole time. We have separate checking and a joint savings. She also has access to both of my high limit credit cards and can sign checks from my account.

Thing is OP when the divorce is filed that will be considered "community money" and she will be forced to split it with you 50/50 unless as someone else mentioned it was a huge chunk and she skips town with it, now you might not ever find it/her and if you do years later it will be "sorry, I spent it". I'd get a lawyer ASAP dude.
