You personally make up lots of things. This is done to bridge the gap between how bad you have had it and how much better others have. You can't handle the differential, so you make things up to justify to yourself why you are worse off and how it isn't quite your fault.

If someone walks across the street and was an inch away from being hit by a car, it makes sense to wake up. It makes sense to learn from the experience, never make it again, and warn others of the dangers. At the very least, an ounce of prevention, even if they choose to marry, could save them tremendous heartache in the long run.

Moving on is completely separate from the idea of warning others. You may not comprehend why anyone would want to help prevent others from preventable catastrophe(that I almost had).

Some choose to repeat their past mistakes over and over and over. That'd be your path, but it won't be mine.

Today's word (and yesterday's and tomorrow's), folks; is ad hominem.

In your case, I think not.

I don't think he realizes anything he says only makes sense to himself. If you disagree, he says you are simply making things up or don't understand yourself.

The guy is 100% unreliable in any discussion concerning divorce.

You could always get back at her by sending her pics of you banging younger, hotter women! That'll teach her!

An internet psychologist or just someone in denial? Are you denying there is a large risk to commingling funds? Much easier to attack me instead. Do what ya gotta do though!

Funny how this is coming from someone claiming to have some kind of clue as to what the OP is feeling, and telling him what he should do, yet has no life experience to compare to it.

We should definitely leave it to divorce experts(multiple divorces) like Alkemyst. The guy that makes things up 100% of the time when he can't handle reality.

"There are "laws"! Therefore your divorce couldn't have happened. Here is a link! Oh wait a second... the link reinforces what you said as truth... Well, I'll just have to go back to making things up then! You live in your parents' basement! Phew close call!"

How about this. I will keep telling people how to protect themselves even if they do decide to get married and you could complement me by adding how to end up with nothing through the same process?

damn, Shadow9d9 is against the ropes now.

So, ya got nothing. I am glad you admitted it. Evidence and you rarely works well. It was funny though that you quote an article that reaffirmed my argument. May I use your source in the future?

I also liked my idea. I can help people protect themselves and they could learn from you what NOT to do. We work together in a way! What is great, is that your ongoing story gives people plenty to learn from. It is just a different way to teach and I respect that!

Yes, I am denying that, specifically. You have yet to present anything other than opinions based on what apparently were unpleasant experiences in your past.

I think risk is mitigated by judgement. Some people have good judgement, and others don't and never will. The people with good judgement largely avoid the risks and pitfalls of life because they make good decisions. The people without good judgement can usually be found crying about the latest thing they've been a victim of.

People are constantly subject to all sorts of biases and poor judgment; there's no such thing as someone with 'good judgement', just varying degrees of awareness of our susceptibility to confusion given particular circumstances.

A baseball and bat cost $1.10, the bat costs $1.00 more than the ball, how much was the ball?

Everyone has 10c pop into their heads instantly; most people on this forum will know that the answer that pops up is wrong and then work-out quickly the answer is 5c. Despite this, all of us have the bad-judgment of saying 10c as part of our everyday systems, it's just a matter of having been trained not to fuck up on this kinds of problems.

There are many other problems in life like this that we encounter all the time; and often we have no idea that we're using poor judgement.

You constantly bring up these kinds of arguments, the questions are meant to be a trick.

Those that get them EVERYTIME, saw the trick already.

It's sad you don't see this.

So you've made up your own definitions of good and bad judgement. Use whatever scale you like.

I have divorced two of them, my second tried to put things in place to keep the marriage going, but I finally met someone I wanted to have a life with.

Both my divorces I initiated.

You can't even get a girlfriend, but perhaps you don't want one.

Considering your interest in butthurt boys, maybe your "wife" or whatever she is isn't the end goal. :hmm:

he is trying to be a college professor.

scary

Your goal in life is reaching 80k posts, then 90k, then 100k. You go down the list and neff every single topic.

And you have nothing worthwhile to contribute 99% of the time.

That's what's scary.

Spamming and neffing away like there's no tomorrow. I wonder how your neffing epitaph will be received here? Not well, I wager.

Hey bro!

You are the one spamming and neffing to any post I am making tonight.

I am not sure what my epitaph would read.

But if your are reading it, yeah I did her; thanks for bringing her to see me.
