What do you mean you looked at the box? Were you at their store or something? Please elaborate.

How does he know the specs? *boggle*

Gotta love when someone makes an ambiguous post and then just disappears.

I called them, the lady I spoke with said they do have them in stock. When I asked her how many, she said "we just got them in today, only got a little bit." When I asked how many that was, she said, "maybe 20".

So thats good news to see these cards out there. Hopefully the price will drop.. $800 isnt any where close to a good price to me. You can easily do 2x7800GT's for that.

Ya ok, just like Rollo knows the release date of the GTX 512. I thought Mwave was just a warehouse where they sell over the internet, not a store.

Too bad there are other threads that have shown proof (somewhat) that the GTX 512 has a core speed of 490mhz and memory at 1700mhz, all we have to rely on here is your word, hell youve been a member for over a year and you dont even have 50 posts...

Tell you what, bring a camera to Mwave and take a picture of what the specs and show us, then Ill believe you.

Mwave is a business that allows for local pickup. They have a front desk and the works for such things. I've been there, pretty nice.

So is it a retail store like compusa or just an small room with a secretary and a desk where you can pickup your purchases?

It's just a small room where you go in to pick up your items. Not retail in any shape or form.

Yeah...some huge azz warehouse with a small will call area. Always takes like 1 hour to get your parts though. Very slow.

Mine has never taken an hour. Probably because my orders are small and there's only like 2-3 people ahead of me.

If a customer starts bitching that lady by the desk is fun to watch since all hell breaks loose.

LOL! Listen to the fanATIcs b!tch & moan about the definition of "availability" when nVidia delivers ahead of schedule.

Online ordering was just fine when the fanATIcs wanted to claim availability for X1800XT, yet suddenly its not good enough for 7800GTX 512...

Huh? I dont' see anyone arguing about availability. It's available earlier than expected, just like the XT was. Here's your cookie -> Now go spend $800 on your wonder card if that's what makes you happy.

Where's all the nVidiiots claiming that ATI's cards are always higher than MSRP at launch? $599 for a video card is nuts... $799 for a card is insane.
