Also, IMO, Warhawk is a terrible, terrible game. There are so many better options out there for online shooters.

Psshhh...you're probably just bad at it. *kidding*
I love Warhawk. Once you kinda figure out what you're doing, learn some new stuff, I had tons of fun playing it. I'd say there's nothing else out there like it. I had more fun playing it than the original Halo (and Halo used to be my favorite game for a long while).
I could understand someone not liking or preferring it, but terrible??? C'mooonnn. That's a big exaggeration (look at its reviews).
However, the number of players are falling...you can still find a couple hundred games to play in, but eventually it will die out.
And...whatever anyone else recommended.

I just got my first game: Folklore for $29.95 at Wally World. It got a high rating and I like both RPG's and Action, and this combines both. I'll let you know how I like it.

How did you get it for $29.99? Pricematch to gamestop/ebgames?
Most other places have it for $59.99

Gratz TK,
I've been using my PS3 for about 4 days, exploring the abilities and watching a couple of BR movies. The movies look awesome and yes, the upverting of std DVD's is quite good. I played a wide screen DVD Lord of the Rings movie and even zoomed it in by one notch (half way between full cinima wide screen format and full 16:9) and the picture still looked good.
The only game I've tried is Folklore - and it looked very nice. I only played through the opening segments and first battle to but the game looks to be enjoyable. I also signed up for the Play Station Network and downloaded several demo's. My daughter tried Naruto and once she figured out the controls, wanted it. I tried Heavenly Sword (very short demo) and was really impressed. The marial arts moves looks more realistic and flowing and less mechanical than many other fighting games I've seen. HS is on my buy list.

I've done some more checking and I think Uncharted: Drakes Fortune (title?) looks like a great adventure game.

It has some of the best voice acting and motion capture I've seen. Nothing too overdone (e.g. MGS4), and at least one of the cast is an actual TV actor.
