Just out of interest before I buy from America, will a BFG 6800 GT fit on an ASUS A8v deluxe mb?

It can only take 1.5 cards and not 3.0

What does that mean, and does anyone have this combination of card and motherboard or even know if it would fit fine?

1.5 = voltage of the card.
1.5v.
3 = AGP spec of board.
AGP 3.0 is AGP 4x/8x at 1.5v.

They will work together. Both are new products! (Socket 939 board and 6800GT)

yes only 3.3v cards would be old an old one.

If your'e planning on using the card's "TV Out" function, then be aware that the output will be "NTSC only", for cards purchased in N. America.

?!?! All drivers ive seen allow you to pick another tv out encoding scheme without issues.
