See you guys are talking of using burns or digital out to rip it to mp3 format so you can use it for whetever. The problem with this is that you bought the music so you could be "legal". Ripping it to another format is as illegal as downloading it off the internet because you dont own the music, you just licensed it. Thats why it sucks so bad. You bought it but you dont own it crap.

This has been answered before, but no...not MP3. 128kbps WMA with a DRM wrapper so you're limited in what you can do with the file. I don't know if licensing is different for each song, but for this file I can keep it on 3 different computers, burn it 10 times, or transfer it unlimited times between unlimited portable music players.

It sounds good...just as good as my 256kbps CD rips using LAME.

Go File menu, and choose properties, if your using WMP9, it will say right there.. (i just want all the details).. Windows Media Audio 9, 2-pass ?

Also, gotta love the wrapper.. just play the file with WMP, and run somthing like Audiograbber, and rip any audio to a DRM free MP3 file
