Just received an interesting letter (Postal mail)

Apparently I won the Spanish lottery! It says my share is $615, 810.00
I'll try to get a scan up later tonight of the letter. It reminds me of the Nigerian scams especially considering the fact that it came with a form asking for all of my information including Bank name, acount number, routing number, etc etc. I wonder how they got my name/address...
Anyone ever receive anything like this?

Wait - you got that vial snail-mail? They actually paid $0.37 for that letter?

Lemme do some math (with some big assumptions)
Cost of 10,000 envelopes + paper + ink = $1000 (assuming $0.10 a letter)
10,000 letters @ 0.37/letter = $3,700

I guess if they get one hit every 10,000 letters, and can sucker at least $5,000 outta the chump each time, they are making money.

I've been getting on average about 10 different email scams a week lately - maybe this is a way for them to differentiate themselves?

Actually they paid .77 Euros. I can't tell where it's post marked from but it does look like it's from Spain. Says something like "LA COMPANIA DE TODOS" on top of the stamp.

Hey I got the same letter about a month ago then a follow up letter telling me I could lose it if I don't send my bank account numbers quickly. I'm right on top of that... eh

Call your Better Buisness Bureau or check the post masters website and see if you can report it or something.

It probably won't do you much good, they've probably already packed up operations and moved to a different location. It doesn't hurt to report it though.

yeah I just wonder what the phone number they have on there are too. I really don't feel like calling with my luck I get billed for a 900 number or worse.
