Just saw Little Miss Sunshine

My mom had been wanting to see the movie for quite some time so last night I made a copy of it and watched it with her. I thought it was very funny. It was a little quirky, but I suppose the director was aiming for that. I thought the casting was pretty good, especially Steve Carrell (sp) as the suicidal uncle, although he didn't seem nearly suicidal to me. For those of you who don't know, its about a dysfunctional family. How did everyone else like it?

I thought it was amusing. Not really laugh out loud funny but funny in a sarcastic, grim way.

Yeah, speaking of the little girl. Was she really that chubby in the midsection or was she wearing something padded? Because she looked kinda unnaturally heavy in just that section of her body

I liked it a lot. I thought they didn't overplay anything (too sappy, too comical, etc etc). I'd watch it again too.

I didn't really know what I was getting into when I watched it ... and I am pretty indifferent to it. Put it this way, it won't be something that I watch again.
