"It was the first time since 1994 he has ever shown any class," Ruby said. "He showed it that night in the restaurant" by leaving quietly.

He was found innocent. The resturant owner needs to get over it.

I think the term would be liable, not guilty. But yeah, dude killed two people, he just got away with it.

His NFL pension. In California, it can't be taken to pay for any court judgement.
edit* actually, looking into it, that might not be that much. He probably still makes quite a bit from celebrity appearances and stuff.
So should his ex and Ron. Sheesh, it's been ten years since you were brutally murdered, get over it.Originally posted by: Hyperblaze

The real killer is still out there, OJ was just looking for him in that restaurant!
Argh! :| It irritates the heck out of me when people say that. No, he was not "found innocent", he was found "not guilty", and the two are not the same. Not guilty means there was not enough evidence to convict him. It does not mean he didn't do it, it just means they could not prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. Innocent means he didn't do it.Originally posted by: Hyperblaze
He was found innocent.
Simpson's attorney, Yale Galanter, said the incident was about race, and he intended to pursue the matter and possibly go after the restaurant's liquor license.
"He screwed with the wrong guy, he really did," Galanter said by telephone Tuesday night.

Nope, still "guilty" - even in a civil trial. IIRC he was found guilty of wrongful death, basically the civil equivalent to a criminal charge of murder.

Actually, that's not quite true either. In certain cases, if a judge is convinced that the person really is "innocent" and not just "not guilty", they can take the unusual step of a finding of "innocent".Originally posted by: JulesMaximus
It's not possible to find someone innocent.
Agreed!Originally posted by: JulesMaximus
I applaud the owner of that restaurant.
