Minus a couple high dollar spots in there, it looks great. Did you choose that shipping yourself? Also, which Corsair memory is that? It's a great system though, you will absolutely love it and Monarch guarantees it for a year I think.

Ram
I read the posts about cheap ram, but i dont agree, as a gamer i realize that generic ram

benchmarks are comparable. However,my old athlon xp2100 ran Half-life2 well, but the generic ram caused a stuttering problem.

This time i am going to spend money on quality!!!

Oh, I meant I used alot of older stuff of my own. Like HD, RAM, case + psu.

But its 3000 +, A8N Sli and a 6600GT (which I will step up in 2 months or so).

Yea, basically 700 or 800 dollars. (after stepup)

like a few other said, there are a few high dollar items there that maybe could have been replaced with cheaper parts, but it is your money and I am sure you will enjoy it! Congrats

Id say you overpaid by a solid $200 and you could have 'pinched' a system with the same performance for about $300-$800 less.

As far as this purchase is concerned, the low-latency ram boards are a bargain!!!

If I had $300 set aside for ram then id go with 2 1gb sticks of something over less ram that allows tighter timings. But whatever floats your boat I guess.
