We actually have a Krispy Kreme store by my office...I tell ya the devil put it there..its wicked..its evil...and d@mn they are sooooooooooo gooooooooooood!!! You can go to the store and watch them being made and get one hot off the belt...well maybe not one off the belt..you can't have only one!!

Krispy Kreme is entirely overrated. Thier donuts are very average. Your typical Asian family owned donut shop makes better donuts.

I don't think they're that GOOD just not bad compared to most other donuts. Also it depends on how you like yours some people like their donuts flakier/doughy in texture and wouldn't find Krispy Kreme that great which is soft.

They built a shop here in NY, I cant stand their doughnuts. Wegmans(grocery store) doughnuts are sooo much better.

A few friends and I used to get up at 6 am every Saturday morning and drive for 40 minutes just to have those damn things. Of course, that was at a time in my life when I was still up after partying all night. Nothing like a few Krispy Kremes and some chocolate milk after a night of drinking

here in Nj, they sell one KK doughnut for 89cents+TAX!! at F'n starbucks! i tasted one(it was at room temp) and it was not all that; but maybe because it was not served/baked the right way?

Krispy Kreme is incredibly good the first few years you have them, then they just seem to have to much sugar. I loved them for years... but now when I have one I just taste sugar in my mouth.

In fact, I would rather have no other donute than a Krispy Kreme .. but then I remember how surgary they are .... so because of KK I no longer eat donuts.

Eat them up as much as you can before you get sick of them&(!^!@

Not everyone has a discriminating palate. I've spoken to people who think KK tastes just like Wal-Mart donuts. Of course, these are the same people who would think that the Zinfandel in a box wine tastes like any other wine of reasonable quality. Some people think Milwaukee's Best is truly the best. Some people think an eMachine qualifies as a quality system.

I guess not everyone has the dense presence of fungiform papillae on their tongues to facilitate lucid flavor discernment. These facilities are required to truly appreciate a KK donut...

MMMMMMmmmm. They're better than anything else we have around here...
