K7S5A Pro problems

I have a K7S5A Pro, 256 pc2700, Xp 2200+, 40gig maxtor and WinXP Pro.
The network card keeps disappearing and reappearing. I have reinstalled the OS from a fresh install twice, and I have all the lastest drivers. I have tried 2 ps's, 3 sticks of ram and another cpu, nothing seems to fix the problem. Anyone have any ideas? Any help is appreciated.

is it the onboard LAN? also is it just the network connection, or is it the network adapter thats disapearing?

if its the whole network adapter that keeps disapearing you may have to disable the onboard lan and install a pci lan card

It is the onboard lan. I've checked the connection and it's fine. I had heard about a bug that made the network card all spazzy but I can't recall where I read it. I'm just gonna RMA the damn board.

RMA it......these boards are either great out of the box or flakey. If you are experiencing strange problems with it then it is definitely the board, I have had several go crazy and I simply warrantied them and the new ones have been great. If you start getting checksum errors in the BIOS upon reboot it is definitely a signal that the board is going on vacaton.
