K8N Neo no display

I bought the K8N Neo (not 2) mobo yesterday with the AMD 3000+ 512Ram at 333. I connected everything according to the instructions and I can't get anything to display on my monitor. It's as if it's not even plugged in. I tried using a GeForce 3 card on AGP first and then an ATI All-in-Wonder and neither work. This is my first time attempting to set up a 64 bit PC so I don't know if there is anything special I need to be doing. There is no troubleshooting information in the mobos box!

Hey Johnny,
When you turn on your computer does your hard drive lights and cd rom lights flicker and go away, or do they constantly stay on? I have the same board and I just built my computer two days ago with the same processor you have as well. If your lights are staying on, try resetting the CMOS jumper on your motherboard. The manual tells you how, just turn off the pins, short out the top two pins, put the jumper back where it was and try to boot up again. It may be something wasnt set right in your bios somehow. If the lights flicker(reading correctly) and you get no picture, I would say something is up with your AGP slot, power supply getting ample power to your video card(maybe), or your monitor. Try a different monitor if you can to see if that helps.

Thank you, Grimmett! I'll try resetting the CMOS jumper. I'm sure my monitor works... I have it set up to a belkin switcher and it works with my other computer.

Nothing actually works... it powers up but the hard drives don't spin. All 5 fans are blowin though!

Just thought I would let you know that it didn't work. I ended up taking it back and getting the new Asus!! Works like a chizarm!

mine didn't work either. i think i have to take it back to asus. i have the k8n-e deluxe. that didn't work. taking off the battery and jumping it didn't work. but well see if i could return it. i hope i could get this thing to work. i know it's my agp card. but since i don't have a pci card for video i cnat tell if it's really my agp.

Sorry it didnt work, sometimes its hard to say if its a bios problem or the board is just wack. Glad everything worked out though.
