6W is wrong. Only Temash has 5,9W but you can't couple it with the "docking station" and increase the clocks. The lowest Kabini version has 8W and is going up to 14w in the tablet mode.

The A6-1450 is Temash and it's the only Temash chip available with turbo dock, which to me probably means it's the only Temash chip with turbo.

Wow the comments, popcorn time!
Also AMD = bad and slow+ high TDP+ high temp. Every kid knows this. Also cheap so = bad.

The guy testing it just said that the battery drain while running the notebook at 100% cpu load for Cinebench, it drained 8.4watts. (thats with wifi,screen-on, and 100% cpu load).

He said in idle mode, the intire thing used around 5watts.
So the 100% cpu load, uses like ~3watts.

For this 1ghz cpu.

it seems to be quite good on power...cinebench with 4 cores @~1GHz had a draw of 8-9W via perfmon

when the gpu was pushed the draw went to 13W

so it might be a 8W max tdp unit

I'm sure some will find that number (8W) bad for some reason.
For me Kabini and Temash hit the mark perfectly. This is what AMD needed 1-2 years ago but better now than never.

Thats not the CPU only though.
That is the intire notebook power usage.

ei. ram,screen,ssd,keyboard backlight,ect ect.

Its TPD is much lower, if at 100% cpu load the "cpu" part only used 3watts.
Intire laptop used like ~8.4watts while running cinebench.

thats right, then its really about 5-7W tdp for the apu then

chippy is getting 14W for the whole notebook @1.4GHz max cores under cinebench cpu test and 17W under the gpu test.

He also mentioned 60% CPU load while running Cinebench 11.5 OpenGL. Up to 17W. It could go even higher maybe with full load on CPU. It doesn't look to me the SoC TDP with turbo enabled is just 8W.
