Saw my first M3 in person today on the road (not counting the Chicago auto show), alpine coupe with cf roof on fox red. FUCKING SICK it looks gorgeous in person, brand spankin new with temp plates. He caught me ogling it, gave him the thumbs up and he opened it up and took off. The sound is absolutely to die for, absolutely amazing, makes me even more jealous.

Have you driven a GTR? My guess is that no member of this board has, though I guess anything is possible. I'm sure none of us have ever driven an F1 car, but it's still fun to discuss IMO.

You missed the point. One can discuss no problem...however; you have a majority that thinks they DID drive and ACTS like they even owned these vehicles.

I will probably be able to drive the GTR being active in the performance nissan segment down here.

I am going to be having my car done on their new alignment machines for the GTR soon.

hah i had the same experience when I saw a new S5 on the road. was driving alongside it, checking it out. Driver saw me, we made eye contact, i smiled and threw up the V sign, he waved, dropped it and took off. I was left with a wet spot in my pants

They're two completely different cars. The 335i is a very strong basic midsized luxury car, whereas the M3 is an absolute beast. I would say it's like someone took the 335i and combined it with the GTO, and kept the best parts of each, except that it's not really like that. It's better.

GTO power with BMW engineering.

Absolutely the exhaust/engine sound is amazing. In all the M3 vs. C63 vids, it blows the Merc away in that department.
