There is a massive gender gap in the polling (see below for analysis up to 2022). Obviously it takes a "coalition" to win the Presidency, but if Harris wins, women voters will figure VERY prominently.

The "partisan lean" by gender is just staggering. For women, it's roughly 60/40 for Team Blue, and it's roughly the converse for men.

One would think. I doubt there's been a more anti-woman ticket in decades if ever than Trump/Vance.

Even in a normal election, at least in recent years, women are the only thing holding up the Democrats. Especially educated women.
On the other end of the spectrum there are high school or less educated white males. Overwhelmingly Republican. Kinda makes you go hmmmm.... Stats don't lie even if gut feelings do.

There's also the thoughts and feelings that keep popping up from the guy that stands a non-zero chance of becoming POTUS if Trump wins, because Trump is already over the life expectancy for US males and he ain't exactly a paragon of healthy living.

In other words, if you stay in the kitchen making sammiches in between popping out babbies, you'll be happier.

I know for a fact that there are some women who'd nod their heads to a manly man like Vance telling them what will make them happy, but probably not most women.

Problem is two fold, people say they will vote but ultimately do not vote or even bother to register to vote. Second problem is the EC, a handful of States decide who is going to be President and relying on women in let’s say a three state block to turn out in record numbers AND an overwhelming majority vote in the same way is not something you want to plan on happening.

While I am not a resume expert, I would assume the space required for writing what one did at McDonalds when applying for a law job would be better used for speaking about internships and schooling.

Up until they changed the system, probably a decade ago, if you were in a civil service job if you did not turn in a notebook size resume, you just won't make it. Sometimes I was thinking they probably used a scale.

Not to be glib, but how many times in the past decades has Roe v Wade been overturned?

I'm not saying anything is sure at this point, but there is a reason this time is different.

Kind of a stunning turnaround in Biden's approval, almost even in this poll which he hasn't seen for a long time. Voters seem to look on him much more favorably after deciding to step down. Complicates Trump efforts to tie Harris to things voters dislike about Biden if they are liking Biden more now.

Also interesting how Harris has dramatically slashed Trump's issue leads on the economy and immigration.
