I still don't agree with the way that's pitched. The poll asks if he's too conservative, not conservative enough, or not too far either way. How does answering "not too far either way" mean he's "more centrist" or "moderate"? It means the respondents think he's an appropriate amount of conservative, not that he's centrist/moderate.

Er, the Dems have been the old GOP minus the overt blatant racism since the days when the over blatant racist Dems left to become the Republicans under Nixon's Southern Strategy. The main reason is because the Dems serve the people, and the GOP dictate the issues so then the Dems act based on the gaslit moronic beliefs of the populace fed on Republican bullshit.
