My mom apparently narrowly missed being killed yesterday when this happened. She was parked at the Starbucks in the mall, then left to go to another store around the corner to get some dog food. In the span of 4 minutes between when she left starbucks and got her dog food, the starbucks had been shot up, and every car in the parking lot where she was parked was also shot up. If she had gotten coffee 4 minutes later, or gotten pet food first, then coffee, I shudder to think of what could have happened.
