good. deserved to get booed. he's too damn cocky, and he acts like he's the savior of hip-hop. to be honest, his flows are mediocre at best, and his lines are corny as hell. he can produce a few good beats, ill give him that, but as a lyricist, he's garbage. the songs i do like on his cd are those featuring mos def and talib kweli, and thats because i only like their verses. just because he's cool with a few underground cats and produces a few beats for* them, doesnt mean he's on the same skill level as them. severely overrated imo, and im happy he got this treatment. hopefully its a reality check for him. he fell asleep at the wheel, got into a car accident, survived it, and now he thinks the world owes him something. pfffffft.

I personally like Kanye alot and as he is still new I will not try to pass that article on, yeah he made a mistake by not aplogizing but honestly when you blow up that quickly you dont have time to get used to it. He should apologize but you should not say you would never buy his album again because you would be missing out on some very good beats and lyrics.

"Never Let Me Down" is a good song as well. I also like "School Spirit" from his CD, but I don't know if it's going to be released as a single.

Still stupid what he did though.

Kanye is nothing more than a mediocre lyricist, and never will be. His flows suck, he mumbles too much, his voice sucks, and he thinks he's clever and sarcastic when he's just plain corny. "Through the Wire" had a sick beat, but Kanye's lyrics sucked it up... cmon, this guy is TALKING for half the g.dam song, and there's no hook except a sped up Chaka looped. Anyone can talk on a song (like we should feel sorry for him b/c he fell asleep behind the wheel), and anyone can loop an 80's song, speed it up, and use it as the hook...

On the other hand, Kanye as a producer is incredible... Out of all of his beats, I maybe don't like two (out of around 35 songs)... He is sort of like Diddy, exceptional sampling and beats, but should have NEVER picked up the mike... Everyone wants to be like Dr.Dre, yet nobody can touch the Bo Jackson of hip hop (rapping and sick producing). But it was a nice try Kanye. lol
